Restylane Helps in the Treatment of Age-Related Problems

Restylane helps in the effective treatment of age-related problems like facial wrinkles and loss of facial volume. Formulated as a clear gel, Restylane corrects moderate-to-severe wrinkles and folds by using a dual mechanism of action. On being injected underneath the surface of the skin, the Restylane gel integrates into the dermal tissue before attracting and binding to water molecules to assist in maintaining volume. The Restylane is then gradually degraded by the own mechanism of the body thus disappearing without leaving a residue.

The result of the Restylane treatment is visible immediately, and last up to 6 months. Some might achieve results lasting longer than 6 months, depending upon the site of injection.

Restylane is used for mid-to-deep dermal implantation in order to correct moderate-to-severe facial folds (like Nasolabial folds) and wrinkles. Restylane is also used for sub-mucosal implantation in order to achieve lip augmentation in adults above the age of 21.

The Restylane range of dermal fillers, used in combination, also helps in achieving non-surgical face lifts. Ageing often causes a change in facial contours that lead to a loss of fullness. Injecting a combination of Restylane range of dermal fillers provides the effect of a non-surgical face lift, making the face look full and voluminous.
